Restorative dentistry
Repairing teeth so they look and work like they should.
Natural-looking fillings, crowns and restorations designed to protect comfort and function.
What it involves
What is restorative dentistry?
Restorative dentistry covers everything we do to repair a tooth that has been damaged by decay, wear, a crack or an old restoration reaching the end of its life.
The aim is always the same: keep as much of your natural tooth as possible, restore comfortable function, and make the repair blend in so well that you forget which tooth it was.

How we approach it here.
Tooth-coloured fillings
Modern composite materials bond to the tooth, need less drilling than older approaches and match your natural shade.
Crowns and onlays
Where a tooth is too broken down for a filling, a crown or onlay rebuilds its shape and protects what remains.
CAD/CAM ceramic restorations
Digital design and precision milling produce strong, accurate ceramic work, in a single visit where it is clinically suitable.
Replacing ageing restorations
Old fillings and crowns eventually leak or fracture. Replacing them at the right moment avoids a much bigger repair later.
Rebuilding worn teeth
Grinding and acid erosion wear teeth down over years. We can restore height, function and appearance together.
Is it right for you?
This may be worth a conversation if…
Only an examination can confirm what you need. These are simply the situations that most often bring people in.
You have a cavity or a broken tooth
The sooner it is repaired, the less of the tooth is lost.
An old filling has failed
Sensitivity, a rough edge or a dark line around a filling usually means it needs attention.
Your teeth are wearing down
If teeth look shorter or feel flatter than they used to, there is a lot we can do before it becomes complicated.
