Preventive care & GBT

The gentlest dentistry is the treatment you never needed.

Professional hygiene and Guided Biofilm Therapy focused on comfortable, minimally invasive prevention.

What it involves

What is preventive care & gbt?

Preventive care keeps your mouth healthy so that bigger, more involved treatment never becomes necessary. It is the quietest part of what we do and easily the most valuable.

Guided Biofilm Therapy, or GBT, is a modern approach to professional cleaning. A disclosing agent makes the plaque biofilm visible, so we can remove exactly what is there using warm water, fine powder and gentle air, rather than scraping away at healthy tooth surface.

What we offer

How we approach it here.

Guided Biofilm Therapy

Plaque is made visible first, then removed with a warm, fine spray. Most patients find it far more comfortable than a traditional scale and polish.

Gum health monitoring

We track the health of your gums over time so that early changes are picked up long before they become a problem.

Protective treatments

Fluoride application and fissure sealants add an extra layer of defence where teeth are most vulnerable.

Home care that actually fits your life

Practical brushing, flossing and interdental advice matched to your hands, your habits and your schedule.

A six-monthly rhythm

An oral hygiene visit every six months is the simplest way to keep everything on track.

Is it right for you?

This may be worth a conversation if…

Only an examination can confirm what you need. These are simply the situations that most often bring people in.

You want to stay ahead of problems

Routine hygiene visits are the most cost-effective dentistry there is.

Your gums bleed when you brush

Bleeding is a signal worth acting on early, while it is still easily reversible.

Cleanings have been uncomfortable before

GBT is specifically designed to be gentler, and we work at whatever pace suits you.
