What are digital clear aligners?
Clear aligners are transparent, custom-made trays that fit closely over your teeth and move them gradually into a planned position. Instead of brackets and wires, you work through a numbered sequence of trays, each one a small step towards the finished result.
The whole case is planned digitally. We scan your teeth, map the movements on screen and manufacture the sequence from that plan — which means you can see where treatment is heading before you wear the first tray.
Aligners handle a broad range of cases: crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite and more. They are also removable, which is their great advantage and their one demand — they only work while they are in your mouth.

A digital scan, not a mouthful of impression material
An intra-oral scan captures your teeth accurately in a few minutes and forms the basis of the entire plan.
A treatment plan you can see
Computer-aided design maps each stage of movement, so we can talk through the expected outcome and timeline before committing.
A tray sequence with a clear schedule
Each aligner is worn for a set period — usually around two weeks — before you move on to the next in the series.
Out for meals, in the rest of the time
No food restrictions and no fiddly cleaning around brackets. Remove them to eat, brush and floss normally, then put them straight back in.
Comfortable, smooth trays
Made from smooth plastic with no wires or brackets, so there is far less to irritate your cheeks and gums.
Progress reviews along the way
Regular check-ins let us confirm the teeth are tracking as planned and hand over your next sets of aligners.
Retention at the end
A retainer holds the result once the sequence is finished, which is what keeps the work you have put in.
